Reviews and Ratings
The campground offers a pleasant experience with spacious sites and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the reservation system leaves a lot to be desired, as it doesn't guarantee the site you reserve ahead of time. The activities were enjoyable, but I encountered some noise issues due to a barking dog from a nearby resident. Overall, while the stay was enjoyable, the reservation process and noise situation should be improved.
We had a fantastic time camping at this resort during the Fourth of July weekend. The campground is not only clean and well-maintained but also provides a great environment for families. The staff was very attentive and kind. However, be cautious about some sites that can flood after rain, and while the wireless wasn't great, the nearby amenities made up for it.
My stay at this park hotel was incredibly frustrating. Initially, I was placed in a dirty, occupied cabin, and after moving my belongings twice, I was confronted by a resident inappropriately yelling at my child. The management seemed disorganized and unresponsive. The overall atmosphere was very unwelcoming, and I was left disappointed, as I had fond memories of this place from years ago. The facilities were not well-kept, and it felt very mismanaged. I can't recommend this place to anyone.
During our stay at Peace River, we enjoyed some lovely moments and made new friends, especially during events like St. Patrick's Day, which my kids loved thanks to Carrie and her fantastic coordination. However, we faced some challenges with noise from traffic and dogs barking next door, which impacted our stay. While the facilities were nice, with a great pool, some areas like the laundry room and atmosphere felt lacking, which took away from the overall experience.
The campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and a variety of activities to enjoy. The staff keeps the park clean, and the views along the river are lovely. However, the layout might be confusing for newcomers, and the laundry facilities can get busy. Additionally, the reservation system for full hookups wasn't ideal for us.
